Dementia facility - updating and repairing electrics.
North West care provider
We have a longstanding relationship with a large North West based care provider. This began when their electrical condition report highlighted work which needed completing at one of their care homes. This building was home to 35 dementia patients. We therefore had to handle the job in a way that was sensitive to the residents and minimised disruption. The residents could not be relocated so we made the site safe. We liaised with the electric company, fitted monitoring equipment and carried out temporary repairs. As a result, the care home could operate safely. Once the residents were relocated, our engineers completed the necessary electrical work and have continued to be the sole electrical contractor for this company. As a business they are required to have an electrical installation condition report every five years. Due to the requirements of the residents, we tailor how we carry out our inspections at any of their sites to their specific needs. As a result of our approach the residents continue to receive the same level of quality care in a safe environment.
